Hearts, hearts and more hearts!

I am all about the hearts right now! I got some red pipe cleaners and have found so many fun things you can do with them to decorate! They are easy to shape into hearts and look really cute wrapped around paper straws.

I also made a cute little love bug headband. Wouldn’t really stay on too long but can work for a Valentine’s Day party. You can secure it with booby pins or barrettes.

Take one pipe cleaner and bend it down in a circle shape. Then take another pipe cleaner and bend it in half. Make a heart shape on each end as shown above. You bend it in between your fingers for the top of the heart. Wrap the bottom together. Then put it around the middle of the other pipe cleaner and twist it a few times to keep it in place.

These adorable heart wands I made with paper straws, ribbon, pipe cleaners and heart decorative wire. i used the same technique to make the heart just make it bigger than the headband. then you can secure it into the paper straw with a little glue. Add some ribbon if you want and viola! IMG_2469

Also on lollipop sticks little hearts make a fun decoration for marshmallow pops or on lollipops. There are a million other things I could do with pipe cleaner hearts. These are just a few ideas.
