Lucky Charms Edible Charm Bracelets

Edible Charm Bracelet with Lucky Charms

Lucky Charms are magically delicious and magically cute! I love this tasty cereal. I decided to use it for a fun little craft too. My daughter and I made little Lucky Charms edible charm bracelets. She loved it. You can eat and craft at the same time. She loves crafts and lately she loves jewelry. In the morning when she gets ready she says it takes a while to get her style. She has to figure out what bracelets and necklaces work with her style for the day. It’s cute that she has a better style than I do. I rarely accessorize, most days it’s yoga pants for me and not a lot of jewelry goes with yoga pants. I do love the girly things and jewelry too. Every once in a while it is nice to take off the mom uniform(yoga pants), get dressed up, and add some jewelry. In the mean time I will settle for edible bracelet crafting!

What you need to make them:

thread or twine

Lucky Charms

toothpicks

Originally I made them by wrapping twine around the marshmallows and those are the ones you will see in the pictures. I did find a way to poke holes in the marshmallows too. Some of the marshmallows crumbled when I tried this, don’t try it with the rainbows. The hearts and hats worked great! I took a toothpick and dipped the tip in water. Shake it off a bit. Poke a hole in the middle of the marshmallow gently and twist the toothpick around side to side to get it through the marshmallow. If it isn’t going through easily then flip it over to the other side and repeat to completely the hole.

If you poked holes in the marshmallows thread them on to the twine with the solid pieces. You can also tie some on as well. Tie the end twice.

Lucky Charm Charm Bracelet

The horse shoes and rainbows are easy to tie on. This craft kept my daughter occupied for a while because it was a snack as you go craft. There may not have been as many marshmallows left after all the snacking!
