Free Printable Flower Templates and Coloring Pages

 

Are you looking for some pretty flower templates? Well you have come to the right place because I have a variety of flower shapes and sizes for you to choose from! These free printable flower templates are perfect for spring crafts, parties, and activities for kids. 

The printable flower templates come in a variety of different styles from hibiscus flowers to daisies. There are also at least 3 sizes for each design for different crafting needs. Some are in color too!

These flowers would be great for a preschool activity or simply to color. At the end of this post I will include a few ideas for flower crafts to make with these templates.

How to use the Flower Templates 

 

First you will click on the writing above the image or on the image to open the digital download. This will take you to the digital file. The files are pdf files so you will need a pdf reader to open the file. Once you have opened it download the file. You can print them at home or at a local print shop. I like to print on white cardstock paper for a sturdier paper but white printer paper works too. You can also print directly on colorful cardstock paper in a 8.5×11” size. The templates can be used to trace on construction paper or patterned scrapbook paper too.

Flower Craft Ideas

 

Tissue paper flowers. Add small squares of colorful tissue paper to any of these templates with glue for a fun and easy craft.

Flower sun catchers. Put contact paper sticky side up on one side of a template with the center cut out. Add squares of tissue paper to the template. Then another piece of contact paper on top sticky side down. Last cut out the outline of the flower and you have a sun catcher to hang up in the window.

These templates can be used for free printable flower coloring sheets. Color with colored pencils, crayons, or markers.

Popsicle stick flowers. Decorate flowers and tape them to popsicle sticks. These can be put in little pots or paper cups.

Flower bookmarks. Use flower templates for bookmarks on a popsicle stick or laminated.

Make a flower paper plate wreath. Cut out small flowers and decorate a paper plate with the flowers. Cut out the center of the plate for a wreath shape.

Make a flower painting by taping a template to a canvas. Dollar stores has cheap canvas. Paint around the outline of the template and you will have a flower shape when you remove the template.
