Free Printable Popsicle Template
One of my favorite things about summer is eating popsicles! When the weather gets warm it is time for some frozen treats. Of course my kids love popsicles too! This free printable popsicle template for kids is perfect for summer crafting. Just download the free printable popsicle craft template for personal use and print it out as many times as you want for crafting.
There are many ways to use these free templates for easy crafts. For coloring pages, make a fun garland of popsicles, or build a popsicle with bright colors.I will give you some ideas for how to use the templates but really you can use them however you want.
Just print out the popsicle printables and use them for a craft project this summer. This can be used for young kids at home on summer break. Make your own summer camp with themes each week. Summer treats would be an amazing theme with popsicles, ice cream, snow cones, and frozen bananas. You can use my ice cream templates. Make the foods and a craft to go with it. Yum, I’m getting hungry! There are many other summer themes you can use such as ocean, pool, or mermaids.

Popsicle Templates
The first popsicle template is a whole large popsicle outline. This popsicle has a round shape and is great for coloring and crafts.
The next popsicle template is similar to the last one but with added stripes.
This popsicle is just the top part of the popsicle. You can put this one on a real popsicle stick for a fun craft!
This popsicle has more of a rectangular shape to give you another option.
Free Printable Small Popsicle Outline
Last are a few popsicle templates that are also more for coloring.
Popsicle craft supplies needed:
Free printable pdf file for noncommercial use personal use(get the printables at the end of this post).
White cardstock paper
Scissors
Glue stick
Popsicle sticks
Craft supplies: you can add different colors of paper, tissue paper, glitter, glitter glue, black marker, or googly eyes.
How this craft works on fine motor skills:
You can work on fine motor skills while having fun! Gluing, cutting, and coloring all help to develop these skills.
Popsicle Craft Ideas
First you can print out the blank templates and get to coloring in details. Use crayons, colored pencils, or markers.
Fun summer crafts. Put out the templates and a bunch of craft materials and let kids have fun. This easy summer craft can be made even easier by just letting kids make it their own.
Trace the templates for the build a popsicle on to colorful paper. Glue the papers together and put it on a popsicle stick. This makes simple paper popsicles. It’s even more fun when you use a real popsicle stick.
Use the crafts for a summer decoration. Make a popsicle garland craft by hanging the complete popsicle crafts on ribbon or string.
They can be used for classroom use with a group of kids in class or a summer camp.
Make tasty popsicles with just juice and sliced fruit. Put them in small cups with popsicle sticks and put them in the freezer. Make a treat and a craft together. Double the fun!
Read a book about popsicles and make simple crafts to go with the book. There are tons of summer themed books that have popsicles.
Make simple art work. Trace the popsicle outlines on a canvas. The dollar stores have cheap canvas for summer crafting. Then let kids paint a popsicle in whatever style they want.
Use popsicles for painting. Ok you could paint with actual popsicles but that might get sticky. However, you can use food coloring in ice cubes to get different colors for painting. Then put popsicle sticks in the ice cubes before freezing them.
Make summer cards. Put the paper popsicles on a colorful paper to make a fun summer card. This can be perfect for teachers or friends with a summer gift.
Use the popsicle template as a popsicle stencil. Use the stencil in many different crafty ways.

Popsicle Craft Directions Using Free Printable Template
First you will need to download the free printables pdf file. You will need a pdf reader for the pdf.
Next print out the template of your choice on white cardstock or printer paper. There are many options including coloring pages, blanket templates, and colorful ones.
If you are going to color it just color right on the free printable template. Coloring is a fun way to relax and craft. You can decorate it more after you color the popsicle color sheets.
For the blanket templates decorate them with colorful paper, tissue paper, or paints. Then cut out the paper and tape it on to craft sticks.
For the build a popsicle template glue the middle piece on to the bottom with a glue stick. Then add on the top piece. Add on popsicle stick templates to the bottom.
