It is really starting to feel like spring. That means it is time to get outdoors. Outdoor crafting and party time call for lots of flowers. I made these simple napkin flowers. I am going to show you how to make napkin flowers with a few easy steps. These are just paper napkins. A while ago I found these marble napkins and have been waiting to find a use for them. They look so pretty as flowers. The napkin flowers would also look great with a solid color. You can use them at each place setting out even put some in a vase for a decoration and guests to grab. Paper Flower Hoop Wreath

It’s already starting to feel like spring here in Phoenix! It is really the best time of year to be outside here. The nice weather made me want to do some outside crafting and make flower crafts. I don’t usually make wreaths but I think I’m going to start making some for every season. This hoop wreath is easy to make and could be fun for indoors to hang on a door or just up on a wall. I just love the things you can make with paper and anyone with any crafting skill level could make this paper flower hoop wreath. Dollar Store Fall Pumpkin Centerpiece

It is looking like fall y’all! Ok not outside but inside my place I am getting ready for fall. Who else is ready for fall?! I made these simple dollar store pumpkin centerpieces to celebrate the season. The bottom pumpkins were ugly as is and needed a bit of painting. I was really impressed with their selection of fake flowers. You could paint the pumpkin any color you want and use any color flowers. It just depends on your color preference. I like the idea of bright color pumpkins with white flower. This time around I decided to go with more fall type colors which is very unlike me. I tend to steer away from traditional but I’m happy I went with orange and copper! Love the shiny color on the pumpkin. The only thing I didn’t get from the dollar store is paint. Walmart, Target or Michael’s have a ton of paint colors for reasonable prices. For one centerpiece, even two you can buy a small paint bottle. read more

Pink Flower Balloon Garland

I wanted to combine a few of my favorite things balloons and flowers. This pink flower balloon garland is very simple to make and just look at how pretty it is! Pink is a great color to use for spring but you really could do any color you want. You can get everything for this garland at the dollar store besides the glitter letters but those aren’t necessary. With dollar store materials this garland is so pretty and cheap to make. Add any types of flowers just a few or a a bunch.I think it would also look good with black and white balloons with bright color flowers. read more

Flower Pudding and Pops

I love spring time, in Arizona we get a short spring but I love it while it lasts. Seeing flowers bloom inspired me to make some cute flower desserts. I’m don’t have a lot of time for actual baking right now so easy no bake flower desserts were the way to go. How cute are these flower pudding and pops! The flowers are made with salt water taffy and you really can’t go wrong with salt water taffy.
