Easy Pizza Cup Appetizers

I personally do not have a lot of time to cook. Especially for special occasion or large groups of people. While I wish I had time to take cooking classes and perfect the skill, preferably in the south of France. A girl can dream right?! In the meantime I will stick to easy recipes that anyone can prepare in minutes. Let me tell you, these easy pizza cups are as easy as it gets! They use Pillsbury crescent rolls, which are delicious on there own and even better when you add in some pizza goodness. These little bites of pizza are perfect for the non-chef to make as an appetizer or for party food. They were approved by my picky five year old. Kid and adult approved that doesn’t happen often! With the holidays coming up I know everyone needs some easy appetizers or weeknight meals to make for guests from out of town. You have to save the heavy lifting for Thanksgiving. You could also make these for holiday parties. Trust me they will be gone in minutes!

What you need to make them:

Pillsbury Crescents

grated mozzarella cheese

mini pepperonis

pizza or marinara sauce

nonstick cooking spray

muffin tin

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Unroll the crescents and separate the pieces. Rip a small amount off of each end of the crescent rolls. Spray a small amount of nonstick cooking spray in the muffin tin. Place the piece of crescent roll in the muffin tin. Make sure there is enough to reach up the sides slightly like shown above. Put a small spoonful of pizza sauce in the middle.

Sprinkle a small amount of mozzarella cheese, okay you can add as much cheese as you want! Then add pepperonis on top. Some of them I put the pepperoni on before the cheese for a little surprise inside but you can add them in any order you desire.

Bake for 12 minutes. I would check them after 10 just to be safe, every oven cooks differently. Take them out once the cups have risen, are lightly browned, and the cheese has melted.

Tasty and easy, plus they look adorable. I served them on these little plates from the dollar section at Target. Man do I love the dollar section for cute things. I also love how cute these easy pizza cup appetizers look on the plates!
