Crafts and Cocktails Party

Valentine’s Day has come and gone. However, Galentine’s Day and celebrating your closest friends can happen all year! I am all about women celebrating women. I decided to put together a crafts and cocktails party for my gals. Crafting and cocktails are perfect for any get together with friends. This party included lots of tasty drinks and some easy crafts. For the beverages I served Bacardi Limon with Wendy’s Signature Strawberry Lemonade.

Their Strawberry Lemonade is my favorite and it mixes well with Bacardi Limon. Seriously, you have to try it! You can only get it at Wendy’s. Since I was stopping by Wendy’s it worked out perfect to pick up beverages, Spicy Chicken Sandwiches, and fries. My gals were really excited for the drinks and snacks. read more

Pizza Valentine’s Day Printables

You all have a Pizza My Heart! Pizza also has a pizza my heart. At this point in my life I would much rather have a night in eating pizza and watching some Netflix with my love for Valentine’s Day than a night out. We are mostly home bodies. I just prefer pajamas to regular clothes. I also don’t want to get all ready and go to a crowded restaurant. We do love going out to eat sometimes but I get sleepy early. Lunch dates for sushi are our thing. When it’s night time I want to eat pizza and watch a movie or show. That’s mom life for you and you know what, I love my mom life. Gift giving can be tricky but everyone loves pizza! The little kids, teenagers, and on up. It’s just an all around crowd pleaser. Plan a pizza date with your favorite person or kid. Ok don’t pick a favorite kid(even if you have one) include them all! These cute pizza printables are fun with a gift card to a pizza place. You can also have them out with ordered pizza or in a small pizza box. If you are making a pizza night box you can include movie night goodies like popcorn and candy. You could also gift it with a pizza plushie, shirt, or something else decorative. read more

Pie Bar Printables

I love Thanksgiving and all of the food. I don’t usually eat a ton of turkey but I love stuffing, mashed potatoes, and my favorite food mom’s meatballs. The meatballs aren’t a Thanksgiving thing they are a family recipe that my grandmother invented and hopefully one day I will learn how to master them. The whole meal is amazing and I am getting my fat pants ready. This is why I should have kept my maternity pants, those things were the best with the stretchy waist! I may have worn them for two years after my daughter was born because all jeans should have stretchy waists. Anyways I love all the foods but after the food I have to save room for some of all the pies. This year we will have apple, pumpkin, and pecan pie! Plus, chocolate chip pumpkin bars and chocolate cake. We have a lot of talented bakers in the family. I will be working on the pumpkin and pecan pie. I’ve only made these a few times but they are my favorites. Did you know there is a separate part of the stomach for dessert? That’s just a fact! There’s always room for pie. Pie is so amazing it deserves its own bar and printable so I had to make some pie bar printable. They look like pumpkin pies and turned out adorable. I also had to make some fun and silly signs. They say “Dibs On The Apple” “I’m Stuffed….Oooh Pie!” and “You Had Me At Pie”. These printables are so easy to put together last minute to make your pie serving area into a pie bar. read more

Do you ever stop and think wow it’s already Friday? Sometime time just flies by because of our busy schedule. Often times I get caught up in the busy day to day schedule and I put off taking care of myself. I say tomorrow I will do something for myself and then tomorrow I will say the same thing. I’ve gotten to the point where I realize sometimes I have to put myself first and practice self care on the go. Life isn’t going to slow down with an active kid and working from home. It would be nice to be able to freeze time to just take a me day but until I come across time freezing powers I will have to make time freeze myself.
