Other ideas for winter activities include:

Winter indoor scavenger hunt. Make an indoor scavenger hunt for kids with winter items hid around such as hats, scarves, or sweater.

Ice painting. Kids will love painting on ice for an easy to put together activity. Make ice and put it in a large container. Let kids paint the ice with a paintbrush and watercolor paints.

Make a paper plate snowman or polar bear by adding cotton balls to the plate with glue and a little face with construction paper.

Have an indoor snowball fight with cotton balls or balled up tissue paper.
