Kid Valentine’s Day Gift

Valentine’s Day is all about celebrating the ones you love! There is no one in the world that I love more than my daughter Keira. That is why I wanted to find a fun way to show her how much I care for Valentine’s Day. She is a fun, smart, and curious 6 year old. She also really loves school and learning. I thought it would be fun to make a cute smart cookie gift bag for her with fun things inside to encourage her learning and show her I care. Plus cute cookies to decorate. What could be better than cookies, American Greetings Valentine’s Day Cards, and books?! I also made some fun smart cookie printables to go with the gift bag. These would look cute also with cards and cookies thank out to friends for smaller gifts. Cards are a great way to show your loved ones how you feel. If you are making a gift bag I have printables for all kinds of fun gifts that encourage kids and their learning.

I put cookies in bags, decorating the bags with stickers and ribbon. The cookies fit perfectly into small heart American Greetings Cards at Walmart gift bags. Then I added a “You Are One Smart Cookie” printable. There are also printables that say “Valentine You Are Sweet” and ones that look like smart cookies. The gift bag of course included a lot of hearts because it is love day after all! American Greetings Cards at Walmart has all of the adorable bags, tissue paper, and of course the cutest cards to fill up your gift bag. This card is absolutely adorable for kids! Inside I had a sticky note pad with hearts, a large pencil, a stuffed animal, fake glasses, a book, and cookies! You can not go wrong with any of these fun goodies for a sweet gift bag. I made some printables to go with the goodies CLICK HERE to get them. “You Are Wildly Smart” goes with any animal stuffed animal, “You’ve Got The Write Stuff” goes with a pencil, “I’m Stuck On You” goes with stickers, and “You Rule” goes with a ruler. You can use any combination of these printables to go in your gift bag.

I made a little face on the gift bag for extra fun! Just poke 2 small hole towards the top of the gift bag. You can hold the glasses up to it first and see where to poke the holes, make a small  mark in these spots. Add the fake glasses in. Tape or glue on google eyes. Add a mouth with some little stick on gems or stickers. Then add the printables. You can also put the items in a box, I’ll show you both ways but I love the smart bag!

My daughter absolutely loved her bag, American Greetings Card from Walmart and all of the fun goodies. She is still wearing those fake glasses around the house! What will you put in your Valentine’s Day gift bag to show your kid how much you love them?
