Printing the Winter Templates

Once you click on the title it will take you to the pdf file printable. Click on the download button for the pdf. Download it to your device then print at a print shop or on a home printer. I like to print on cardstock paper for crafts, but white printer paper works as well.

 

Winter Craft Ideas

 

If you need some ideas for ways to decorate these templates here are a few winter craft ideas:

1. Make sun catchers! Cut out the template outlines and the center of the outline. Add contact paper or clear tape stick side up to the back of the outline. Then add on small pieces of tissue paper to the contact paper. Once it is covered with tissue paper add another piece of contact paper.
2. Use the templates for coloring pages. You can add designs or just color with different colors. These are perfect for young kids since they have simple large designs to color in.
3. Watercolor painting. Print the templates on white cardstock paper to use for watercolor painting so the paper wont rip.
4. Print the templates on colorful paper and add on fun craft supplies. You can set out supplies for kids to get creative with by adding cotton balls, gems, glitter, tissue paper, or pom poms.
5. Add paint to blue paper with cotton balls attached to clothes pins or q-tips. Then add a penguin or snowman on top. This is a fun craft for preschool or early elementary school kids.
6. Color the templates and add sparkly pom poms or cotton balls.
7. Put penguins or snowmen on a popsicle stick for puppets.
8. For the mittens or hat draw on them with white crayon. Then paint with watercolors to reveal a fun pattern.
