Sometimes in the winter things get too dark and dreary. I love color and that is why I am adding some color to my winter. This week is all about colorful winter fun! I love hot chocolate and marshmallows. Lots and lots of marshmallows! These colorful hot chocolates are fun to serve at winter parties. Make them with kids over winter break or just brighten up any cold winter day with colorful hot chocolate! I will show you how to make colorful hot chocolate  for some winter fun.

What you need to make it

1 1/2 cups of white chocolate

4 cups of milk, I used low fat milk but any milk will do

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

On your stove top over a low/medium heat melt all of the ingredients together. Stir consistently until it is all melted, about 5 minutes.

Pour the hot chocolate into a few mixing bowls dividing it evenly for as many colors as you want, I used three. Add one drop of neon food coloring to each container. Then mix in the food coloring. Serve in clear glass mugs or coffee cups. Add mini marshmallows on top.
