Sparkly Centerpiece Ideas

Sparkly Candle Centerpiece

With New Years and winter around the corner I want to add some sparkle to everything. I am all decorated for Christmas and I added plenty of sparkly snowflakes to my decor. Of course I didn’t think about how messy the sparkles could be so now my place is covered in glitter. These sparkly centerpiece ideas are no mess because I used glitter washi tape! Plus I got the materials from the dollar store. Cheap, easy, and sparkly without the mess.

For the Candles I wrapped gold washi tape around led tea lights. Don’t use regular candles unless you are just wrapping the very bottom.

For the Plate I made rows of the washi tape on top of a cake plate. You can use any kind of plate. Just make sure the are smooth without any bumps and that the rows slightly overlap so you don’t see the plate.

You could use this sparkly plate for centerpieces like I did or serving food as well. Get creative!

Add some little disco balls in wine glass or vases on top of the plate for added shine.

Here is how I easily added the washi tape. I cut off any extra on the top and glued down the edges to keep it in place.

That’s all it takes to make these simple sparkly centerpiece ideas. Add some confetti if you want but they look pretty without the messy confetti. These are perfect for New Years. You can also leave them out for home decorations if you like some sparkly year round like I do. It’s all girls in my house so we can have all the sparkle we want woohoo!
