How to use the templates

 

These free cross templates are pdf files so you will need a pdf reader to open the file. Click on the CLICK HERE button to open the file. Then download the digital file to your computer. They are for personal use, non commercial use but can be printed out multiple times. Print them out on a home printer or at a print shop. Print on white paper, white card stock paper, or colorful cardstock paper in a 8.5×11″ size.

 

Easter Cross Templates

 

First is a simple cross outline. This large cross outline is great for a craft with young kids or making decorations. There is a white and black version.

Next is a medium size of the cross outline. This simple cross outline is perfect for making banners and different projects with kids.

The next basic cross also comes in a white cross with a simple outline and a black cross. You can print the crosses on a different color of paper if you would like or use the cross to trace on paper. This cross is a thinner cross.

Here are a few options for cross coloring pages with flowers and patterns. Make a small coloring book for a fun easter holiday activity with these coloring pages and other free printable pages. You can also just cut out an individual cross color sheet for a simple craft.

​Cross Crafts

 

​Here are a few ideas for ways to use the crosses for crafts with kids or adults.

Yarn wrapped cross. Trace the cross on cardboard and cut out the cross. Kids can wrap the cross with yarn in different colors.

Tissue paper cross add small squares of tissue paper to the cross template. Use a glue stick or white glue to attach the tissue paper. This is a fun activity for preschool age kids.

Sun catcher. Add contact paper to the back of the template with the center cut out. Have the sticky side up. Then have kids put on small pieces of tissue paper to the template. You can give this a stained glass look by using black cardstock paper for the cross.

Masking tape craft. For young kids adding masking tape to the template to create stripes and decorating the blank spaces will work on fine motor skills.

Party decorations. Use all of the shapes and sizes to make easy cross decorations. Make banners, decorate tables, and use the variety of Christian cross templates to decorate a party space.

Coloring pages. For easy coloring kids can color in the pages with crayons, markers, or colored pencils. For older kids they can add details to the blank cross templates to make it their own.
