You may want a simple plain bucket outline template to color or decorate. The black and white buckets are a perfect blank slate to work with for crafts. This comes in two sizes large and medium. If you are adding it to a beach background you will want the medium size. For a fun decorated bucket use the large one.

The next color is red. The primary colors are just such classic beach bucket colors and who doesn’t love a red bucket?! The blue bucket also comes in two sizes large and medium.

Printing the Bucket Templates

 

First you will need to download the pdf format file for the bucket you want to use. Feel free to use more than one bucket template. All the pdf files are all for personal use, non commercial use, but you can print it out as many times as you want.. Once you have downloaded the digital file then print it out on a home printer or at a print shop. I prefer to print on cardstock paper for the best results, but printer paper will work too. Cardstock paper is just thicker for the template to last longer. You can also laminate the buckets to make them last.

Crayons, paints, or markers

Pipe cleaners, pom poms, glitter, and salt(for sand)

Colorful craft paper to decorate

Ways to Use the Bucket Templates

 

This bucket craft template can also be used for a writing activity for homeschool or in a classroom. Kids can write down ways they would be bucket fillers lifting people up and filling their bucket. Examples would be sharing, helping clean up, saying kind words, and helping friends. For younger kids adults can write out bucket filler activities for daily life to give them actionable steps to be a bucket filler.

Fill the bucket! Print out 2 bucket templates and staple them together. Fill them up with cute little crab, seashell, or shovel drawings.

Use the filled with small pieces of paper for a free bucket list template. Write down summer bucket list ideas or regular bucket list ideas on pieces of paper. Each day take out one to do for that day or when you are looking for a fun idea for the day. You can also write a bucket list on the outside of the bucket and check off things you have done.

Just like a regular bucket list this can be used for a travel bucket list or summer bucket list templates. It is the perfect way to make sure you do all the things you want on a trip or this summer. For travel some examples of exciting activities are visit a museum, go to the best restaurant in town, and an activity each person in the family wants to do. Some bucket list examples for summer include swimming, picnic, beach, ice cream, paint rocks, summer movie night, and play with bubbles. Each person in a group or family can make their own bucket list for summer and try to get everything checked off before the end of summer!

It can be used for inspiration for dream goals or personal goals as a motivational tool for adults. Sometimes we have to fill up our own bucket too!

Also for adults you can laminate the buckets and use them for to write your summer to do list. Put it in your personal planner or hang it up.

Use the buckets to decorate a bulletin board at home, in an office, or in a classroom. Each bucket could have a summer word listed on the bucket or just for beachy bulletin board decor.

Coloring pages! Color in the buckets or paint them. You can cut them out and put it on a beach background.

Color matching. Print out the smaller buckets. Color them in and make it a color matching activity. Match red with red, blue with blue, and more.

Another color matching activity with the big bucket. Print out a few buckets color them. Then fill it up with item that match that color. For example a red crayon, red heart, red crab toy, and red craft pom pom.

For pretend play. Pretend to go to the beach and play in the sand with this bucket.

Have kids make a shovel craft to go with the beach pail this can be with pipe cleaners or a popsicle stick for the shovel handle.
