First is just a cut and paste build an elf craft. This fun cut out elf template comes in black and white for a coloring craft. It also comes in color to just cut and paste. The elf craft comes on two pages for bigger pieces for kids to cut out. Plus, elves have to have all of the bells and whistles or hats and collars.

Print the templates on white printer paper or white cardstock paper. You can also print on colorful cardstock paper if it is 8.5×11″ size paper that fits in your printer. Easy peasy to print out the templates!

Elf Craft Ideas

 

1. Build an elf. This of course is just a simple cut and paste craft with the templates provided above.
2. Elf puppet. Put the little elf on a popsicle stick to make a puppet or attach the arms and legs with brads so they can move!
3. Elf yourself. Kids can make themselves into an elf by adding a picture of themselves to the elf with the blank face. This is fun for kids to see themselves as an elf.
4. Funny hair elf. Use strips of paper to make funny hair for the elves without hats. Then add a printable hat on top of the hair. Kids can also give them haircuts.
5. Paper plate craft. Make an elf outfit with a paper plate then add the head, arms, and legs from the templates.
6. Elf coloring pages. Use the coloring templates as simple coloring pages.
7. Paint the elves with watercolors or tempura paint for a simple painting activity.
8. Decorate elves with colorful tissue paper and pom poms to add a little extra fun to the templates.
