Bacon Pinata. Fun for parties and Father's Day.

Who doesn’t love bacon?! Besides vegetarians(sorry vegetarians this post is not for you). I don’t know too many people that don’t love bacon. I personally love all breakfast/brunch foods better than other foods. I could do brunch every day and breakfast for dinner every day! We do breakfast for dinner a lot and that has to include some bacon. I made this mini bacon pinata and I think it turned out adorable. You can use the same technique to make a larger bacon pinata or you could make it even tinier. For little ones just fill them with small candy. For the larger ones you can fill them with candy and mini plastic drink bottles. I’m assuming this pinata would be appealing to the adult crowd more than the kid crowd. Adults need more pinatas in there life. I think adults need to hit something and eat some candy more than kids ;). I’ve seen hamburger pinatas in stores but not bacon. read more

DIY Present Pinata and Mother's Day Giveaway

Since Mother’s Day is right around the corner and so is Cinco De Mayo I had the crazy idea to combine the two. I have made one pinata before and I loved it so I wanted to make a pinata for Mother’s Day. This diy present pinata is a perfect present for moms. Plus there is a fun giveaway at the end of the post!

As a mom a lot is asked of you on a daily basis. You have to do a million jobs in a day every single day. Sometimes it can be really stressful! I constantly feel like I could use a massage, a spa day, some wine and some chocolate. I also think there is a certain kind of stress relief from hitting something. No, I don’t want to hit a person, I’m a lover not a fighter :). However, hitting a pinata is just a good time and yes, it feels good to hit something sometimes. Who doesn’t love hitting a pinata and why should kids have all of the fun?! If you don’t want to make a pinata you can buy one and fill it with goodies. However, this pretty diy present pinata is fun to make! You can make it in any colors that mom might like. You can also make this pinata for birthdays or any occasion. Easy Pineapple Pinata

Sticking with my pineapple obsession/theme I have an easy pineapple pinata. This pineapple pinata is a pull string made with a paper lantern and tissue paper! You could also use the paper lanterns for decoration if you don’t want to have a pinata. I’m all for the pinatas! Yes, sometimes I like to really hit a pinata but I also like to pull a string and have candy fall from the sky :). Living the dream, most of my dreams involve candy.
