Hocus Pocus Party Printables

Hocus Pocus Toppers

The countdown to Halloween has begun! One of my favorite things to do around Halloween is watch Hocus Pocus. It’s my absolute favorite Halloween movie. Yes, I prefer the funny movies to the scary movies. I can do a little bit of scary but nothing too creepy. There’s this thing called sleep that I don’t get enough of and would prefer not to fill it with anything scary. My daughter’s five, I don’t know if she is quite ready yet for Hocus Pocus or would be interested in it but you better believe I will do my best to show her the ways of the Sanderson sisters. Hocus Pocus is really a great movie for any age(in my opinion). These fun Hocus Pocus party printables are perfect for a Halloween movie night with friends or kids. I made toppers and signs that you can get the free printables for below. I also made decorations that can be used for banners, centerpieces or hanging up. Get the printables below. read more

Monster eye Halloween Hersheys kisses

Monster Eye Halloween Hershey Kisses

hershey kisses for Halloween

These monster eye Halloween Hershey Kisses are the easiest Halloween dessert for parties or to pass out to trick or treaters. You can just have a bowl of Halloween Hershey Kisses for guests. Since I always have googly eyes for crafts(I use an excessive amount of googly eyes) I though they would be perfect to put on some kind of candy. The bottom of the kisses are the perfect size for a googly eye. You can put these in the bowl of candy to pass out to trick or treaters to add a little more fun to the candy. read more

DIY Monster Headband

monster headband

My daughter loves to wear headbands! She also is big into dress up and pretend play. I wanted to make a monster headband for her and this diy monster headband was really fun to make. I used things we had around the house to make it. You can make it for pretend play or with a Halloween costume. A lot of monster costumes have a huge fuzzy part that goes over your head. Most kids I know wont wear costumes that cover up most of their head. You could then just glue a bunch of googly eyes on a dress and black felt for a mouth . Bam you have an easy no sew costume. This I thought would be fun for my daughter to wear to school without having to dress up in a costume. read more

My favorite Halloween costume to date was when my daughter dressed as a ghost and I dressed as a ghost buster. I had to by a mans costume because the female ones weren’t exactly trick or treat friendly. She was so adorable in her ghost costume I found on etsy. These ghosts ideas from around the web have something for adults and kids. read more

She wants to wear it all the time! Hopefully it will make it to Halloween in one piece. read more
