Snow Globe Serving Tray

Snow Globe Serving Tray for parties

Christmas party season is starting and man am I excited! I love a good Christmas party and lots of Christmas party food. I don’t typically cook the food but I can help make it look all cute to serve. For fall I made these fun Pumpkin Serving Trays that were a hit. I thought it would be fun to make serving trays for Christmas parties too. I have been loving all of the snow globe ideas this season. I probably spent an hour on Pinterest looking at ideas. Although spending an hour on Pinterest is a typical day for me. This DIY Snow Globe Serving Tray can be made mostly with dollar store materials and a few from the craft store. I also had left over snow and trees to decorate my place. You can use these trays for home decorations as well, they’d be cute with a snow village on top! I may have made a wee bit of a mess with the snow but that just adds to the snowy look, right?! read more

Easy Santa Cupcakes

Ho ho ho Merry Christmas! Santa is coming soon and let me tell you we are excited in my house. My daughter loves Santa and this time of year. She wants to visit Santa every day and look at Christmas lights every night. We can’t see Santa every day but I have lots of holiday goodness planned this month. I think I get almost as excited as her. Especially when it comes to making Christmas treats I love coming up with fun ideas. We made these Santa cupcakes and some penguin cupcakes. Two of my daughters favorite things Santa and Penguins. I really love these Santa cupcakes and how easy they were to make. I did the beards but the rest my 5 year old could help out with. read more

Present table setting

Christmas Table Setting

Present table setting

Christmas is a hectic time with celebrations and wrapping presents. That doesn’t mean you can’t still have a cute and easy Christmas table setting for Christmas parties or Christmas day. If you are wrapping presents anyways might as well wrap the whole table too to make a pretty and easy Christmas table. This is fun for gift wrapping parties, cookie parties and parties with kids. This Christmas table setting was really easy to make and looks super cute. I added a bunch of bows in the middle for a table runner but you could add one bow in the middle and ribbon. This is a good use too of extra wrapping paper. read more

Printable Winter Gift Card Holders

winter gift card holders

I really like to give and receive gift cards. Honestly I am not the best at picking out gifts. It is so hard to find the perfect gift. Then you don’t know if someone genuinely likes the gift or are just trying to be nice. You want to pick out the perfect gift but you can’t pick out the perfect gift for everyone. Gift cards are a no brainer. Everyone loves a gift card. I would never say no to a Target gift card. I can’t even predict what I will want or need one week to the next from Target. People like to be able to pick out there gifts themselves. These adorable winter gift card holders are perfect for easy winter or Christmas gifts. read more

Simple wreath made with bows

Simple Bow Christmas Wreath

Gold Bow Wreath

Since it is November that means time to get ready for Christmas! Does everyone get ready in November or is it just me? Thanksgiving is fun but lets get real the decorations can’t compare to Christmas! Put on some Christmas music and start the Christmas decorating projects. This Christmas bow wreath is incredibly easy to make and looks really pretty. You can make it with any color of bows. Traditional red, green, or gold like I did. This wreath is on the small side, but you can make it even bigger and fuller. This one is just one row of bows. If you get a large bag of bows you can make two rows for a large wreath. The large bag of bows was $5 and I used a cake plate that I had for the base. Such an easy do it yourself project for Christmas. This would be a fun easy project to make with a group of friends. read more

DIY Santa Gift Bags

Santa kisses gift bag

Santa’s coming, Santa’s coming, I know him! I still love Santa and the magic that comes with Santa around Christmas. My daughter believes still and I will keep that going as long as I can. Santa brings presents so why not bring presents to others dressed up as Santa or bring some Santa “kisses”. This DIY Santa gift bags are perfect for school class gifts, gifts to friends or Christmas parties. You can get creative with what you put inside these cute gift bags! It doesn’t just have to be candy, although Hershey Kisses work well for the Santa kisses. I made easy Santa belts to go on the bags. You can use both the gift tag and Santa. You could also pick one or the other depending on your preference. read more

Santa Hat Snowball Christmas Game

Santa Hat Christmas Game

Santa Hat Snowball Christmas Game

I know it is not quite Christmas yet…OK it’s not even Halloween but the craft stores have all of the Christmas fun out! I spend too much time in craft stores and have been brainwashed into getting ready for Christmas crazy early. I can’ help it though, I love Christmas! I saw some Santa hats and I thought they would be fun for a game, then I thought of this catch the snowballs in Santa hats Christmas game. It is really fun but be warned your kids will want to play it over and over again! Since we don’t get real snow this close enough for us. It is also a fun game to play inside when there is too much real snow and it is too cold to play outside. read more
