DIY Pipe Cleaner Photo Props

Pipe Cleaner Props

These diy pipe cleaner photo props are fun because they can be an activity and prop all in one. People can make there own things out of the pipe cleaners and get creative. I did some simple New Years ones. Glasses, lips, clocks, fireworks and the year. You can also do different colors for different party themes. It’s an easy way to make photo props without a lot of materials. You can spell out a name for a birthday or initials. These would also be cute cake toppers!

Pipe Cleaner Crowns

pipe cleaner crowns with different designs

It’s amazing the things you can make with just pipe cleaners. I love doing pipe cleaner crafts with my daughter because they are simple and don’t leave a big mess to clean up. I also like glitter crafts but I always know that I will be cleaning it up for a week. These sparkly pipe cleaners give you that shine without all the mess. We made these cute pipe cleaner crowns in different shapes so it is also a learning craft. You could use all the different shapes on the same crown too! My daughter was partial to the heart crown because she loves hearts. I love the blue one with the circles. I chose the sparkle pipe cleaners but you could do solid colors without sparkle. Crowns can work for boys and girls for the little princes, princesses, queens and kings. Any way you make them they are super simple to make. read more

Hearts, hearts and more hearts!

I am all about the hearts right now! I got some red pipe cleaners and have found so many fun things you can do with them to decorate! They are easy to shape into hearts and look really cute wrapped around paper straws.

I also made a cute little love bug headband. Wouldn’t really stay on too long but can work for a Valentine’s Day party. You can secure it with booby pins or barrettes.

Take one pipe cleaner and bend it down in a circle shape. Then take another pipe cleaner and bend it in half. Make a heart shape on each end as shown above. You bend it in between your fingers for the top of the heart. Wrap the bottom together. Then put it around the middle of the other pipe cleaner and twist it a few times to keep it in place. read more
