15 Simple Party Cleaning Tips

15 Simple Party Cleaning Tips!

I would say my least favorite part of throwing parties is the clean up! More like my least favorite party of life is cleaning. I’m not afraid to say it, I don’t like cleaning, but it is a necessary evil. When you throw a party sadly after all the fun you have to clean up the mess. Since I am a blogger that focuses heavily on parties I know a thing or two about making glittery confetti messes. I am creating things on a daily basis and with that comes tiny pretty messes. Since making messes comes more naturally to me than cleaning them up I have come up with some shortcuts and ways to make the cleaning party a bit easier. I also have thrown enough parties to figure out what does and doesn’t work with the clean up. You can see my messes above, that top picture sure has a lot of dirt haha. In Arizona we get these lovely dust storms that bring massive amounts of dust all around, I decided that dust needed some confetti on top. My bottom more Instagram friendly mess picture I was playing around with confetti while wearing my unicorn slippers! Grown women need unicorn slippers too! I never outgrew my love for fairies, unicorns, and mermaids. Luckily I had a daughter so I can still play with all those silly fun things. Those are just a few of my many party messes that I have made and had to clean up! read more

Hearts, hearts and more hearts!

I am all about the hearts right now! I got some red pipe cleaners and have found so many fun things you can do with them to decorate! They are easy to shape into hearts and look really cute wrapped around paper straws.

I also made a cute little love bug headband. Wouldn’t really stay on too long but can work for a Valentine’s Day party. You can secure it with booby pins or barrettes.

Take one pipe cleaner and bend it down in a circle shape. Then take another pipe cleaner and bend it in half. Make a heart shape on each end as shown above. You bend it in between your fingers for the top of the heart. Wrap the bottom together. Then put it around the middle of the other pipe cleaner and twist it a few times to keep it in place. read more

Candy Heart Pops!

These marshmallow pops and heart candy pops taste great! They are super easy to make and look adorable. I am all about the bright fun colors this Valentine’s Day! I think I went a little overboard with the candy hearts I bought so I am using them in any ways I can. No actual baking involved here so anyone could make these.

For the heart pops you need candy melts any color you want or white chocolate, conversation hearts or heart sprinkles, lollipop sticks and a candy making bottle. read more

Spiders!! EEK!

Easy spider Halloween ideas

I try to extend all holidays for the entire month. We do crafts and make decorations to get into the spirit! We made a bunch of spider Halloween crafts. This year Keira wanted to be a ghost for Halloween. I was excited about her costume choice since she dresses up as a princess almost every day, that’s just a Tuesday for us. Luckily Etsy has some cute ghost costumes so I didn’t have to figure out how to make one. I cannot sew to save my life, although I can glue like nobody’s business. Today I got Keira’s costume in the mail and wanted to try it on her. Once it was on she didn’t want to take it off and was ready to go trick or treating. She was waiting for the sun to go down for trick or treating. It’s hard to convince a three year old it is not trick or treating time when they get the idea set in their mind. Now her costume is in hiding until Halloween. Instead of trick or treating she had to settle for making fun Halloween decorations with me :). read more
