I love trips to Disney they are absolutely the best time and kind of trip to take with kids. Kids will always remember the fun times they had at Disney Land or Disney World. Luckily they probably won’t remember the time spent waiting in line. The crowds and lines can kind of put a damper on an otherwise fun trip. While waiting in line for a few of the rides at Disney World last month I thought why didn’t I plan better for this? I know there will be wait times and I was completely unprepared with ways to entertain my six year old. While spending the time wait I did come up with some fun little games to play in line and around the park. Nothing difficult to do just easy fun for the family and maybe get a few extra laughs. These can come in handy when you are losing energy and waiting in line.
Some of my favorite memories from childhood are my family trips. My family went on some fun adventures! We went on cruises, to the beach, and of course to Disney Land! We weren’t constantly on vacation but the times we went on vacation really stuck with me and made memories that I still remember today. I want to take my daughter on fun adventures too and make memories. We recently moved to Florida, which means we will be doing a lot of trips to Disney World. Now we get the awesome discount for being locals, woohoo! I had never been to Disney World before we went this summer since I used to live in Arizona we would only go to Disney Land but I am now in love with Disney World! The added fun of the Animal Kingdom sealed the deal for me. We were seriously impressed with the whole magical place. I wanted to make our trip memorable so I found 10 ways to make your trip to Disney World extra special. It’s the little things that make a big impact and some of these are sure to make lasting memories for you and your family.
I love Thanksgiving. All the family, all the food, how can you go wrong?! Kids don’t always have the patience to sit through a long meal. Sometimes they need a little extra entertainment and activities. These little Thanksgiving turkey activity bags are a fun and easy activity to entertain the kids. You can also use play doh or pom pom balls to build a turkey. I used what I had which was paper and they turned out so cute! These are also a fun nonfood Thanksgiving thing to give out to friends. The bags are easy to put together and easy for kids of different ages to make. My daughter is 5 and she had a blast with this activity.
Summer has ended but before it does we had some serious dance parties! My daughter loves music and says she wants to be a rock star. That is why we needed to make a microphone craft. We made some sparkly pretend microphones to bring out our inner rock stars. These were really easy to make and I got to use some of the toilet paper rolls I have been hoarding. You never know when you will need to make a toilet paper roll craft in a pinch. My daughter keeps making the paper towel rolls in to light sabers. I think we have about 10 of them by now.
I’m always trying to make fruits and vegetables more enticing for my daughter. She likes fruit, vegetables she wont do unless there is ranch involved. I’ve found she likes fruit better when I make it into something cute. I also like to use candy eyes whenever I can. Everything is cuter with candy eyes. You don’t have to put candy eyes on all of the fruit like I did(I know it’s a bit much) but a few of them Is cute! I thought for summer under the sea fruit would be cute for fun and parties.
I feel like my blog and life needs more balloons! You will be seeing more balloons from me coming up. They are just such an easy decoration and you can make so many cute things in balloon form. Like these diy Easter chick balloons. They were incredibly simple to put together and I just love how adorable they turned out. My daughter also absolutely loves balloons. She will keep a balloon as long as possible. I have to get rid of them when she is not around or else it makes her cry. Yes, she cries a lot and her new thing is to say I am breaking her heart. You know if I threw out the milk that has gone bad it breaks her heart. Getting rid of balloons definitely breaks her heart. I actually love how sensitive she is because it took me until I was 30 to be okay with crying in front of people. She cries and is over it in a minute then off to play a game. I have also gotten very better at holding back my laughter when she is crying over a ripped piece of paper. Anyways, no one is crying when these cute chick balloons are around. At least not until they have to go back to the “farm”. They are fun for spring and of course Easter decorations.
I think one of the most important things to do as a parent is to raise kind human beings. If I mess up everything else as a parent knowing that my daughter is a kind person who is spreading kindness in the world I will feel accomplished as a parent. These 30 ways for kids to throw kindness like confetti are just some ideas little and big to spread kindness. You can come up with your own ideas or encourage your kids to come up with ideas to spread kindness. Make it fun, you could brighten someone else’s day as well as your own. We all get busy and sometimes forget the basic things in life like throwing kindness around. Kindness is something we all could use more of in life. Kids already have such a wonderful innocent and kind nature that they are the perfect people to spread kindness. Kind kids become kind adults who care about others.
